Developed a 50+ page Annual Report for Caltrans’ IT department, designed for internal distribution. Content
was delivered as multi-author Word submissions and required translation into a cohesive, technology-forward publication aligned with the department’s direction.
I established the visual system, creating six distinct cover concepts to define the report’s identity before building
out the interior framework. Using category-based color coding, structured section openers, and a strong typographic hierarchy, the layout transforms varied departmental summaries into a unified editorial-style publication while supporting long-form readability.
Across multiple review cycles, I refined structure, imagery, and spacing to ensure consistency and visual
rhythm throughout. The final report brings clarity and cohesion to a dense, multi-author document, presenting
the department’s annual progress in a clear and accessible format.
