This Community Mural, displayed in a Wells Fargo branch in Casper, Wyoming, celebrates the city’s rich history and deep community roots. Featuring carefully curated black-and-white archival photography from the early to mid-20th century, the mural illustrates Casper’s cultural and economic development over time. Designed in Photoshop and printed on fabric, the piece was stretched into an aluminum frame, creating a polished and lasting installation. An accompanying mural key provides captions that detail the images and their historical significance.
I collaborated with a researcher who sourced imagery from local historical societies. Created the layout in Photoshop, then restored and hand-colored the
black-and-white images, enhancing their visual appeal while blending historical storytelling with contemporary design aesthetics. Coordinated with vendors to oversee the printing and installation process, ensuring the final piece met
quality standards.
